Hero catches escalator fall boy

Four-year-old boy has narrowly escaped injury after falling from an escalator after climbing up the side of it.


He was caught by a local shopkeeper, who ran to catch him. The incident happened at a shopping centre in Istanbul.


Quick-thinking shopkeeper Ali Apari said he saw the boy, who was visiting the centre with his father, playing near the escalator.
