Brave shopkeepers fight off knife weilding robber

Brave shop staff have been commended by a judge for fighting off a knife-wielding robber -- with a Stool. 

Drug addict Dean Spiller, 32, was desperate for a fix and stole from his parents before carrying out armed raids of two convenience stores. 

But he was thwarted at Star News and Booze in Bedminster, Bristol - after shop staff grabbed him in a bear hug and clobbered him over the head with a Stool. 

Dynamic duo Zafar Iqbal and Madeen Khan then made a citizens arrest as a customer entering the shop called police to the scene.
